Tri-Ohio Realtor Gary Williams has been selected for inclusion in the Beaver Local Alumni Hall of fame for 2015 according to the April 5 issue of The Morning Journal.

Gary has been active in education at Beaver Local, a 20-year career as high school teacher and 5 years as Assistant Principal at Beaver Local Middle School, and 5 years as Principal at Westpoint Elementary.  He also served 29 years as a Madison Township Trustee, 4 years as Columbiana County Commissioner, 2 years as the Columbiana County Recorder, and 23 years as a member of Calcutta Rotary.

The first 2015 General Membership Meeting for BCAAR was held on Friday, February 13, at Lock 24 in Elkton, OH.  We had 35 members present with many new members, which included:  Pat Clutter, Timothy Walsh, Deborah Dancker, Michelle Smith, Taylor Baker, Jean Cusick, Jake Kinsey, Bob Cozzo, Heather Farrar, Frank Clinton, and Guests, Anna Frantz, Sean Carney and Rick Clark.  A buffet luncheon of salad, rolls, rigatoni and chicken marsala was served.

Sandy Hardcastle, a former BCAAR President, and mother of our new President, Brenda Palmer installed the following officers and directors. [picture] From left to right they are: Tait Hilbert, Janet Birch, Sarah Sorge, Linda Courtney, Brenda Palmer, Zach Underwood and Ron Bryer.

Lori Barnes, environmentalist for the Columbiana County Health Dept., presented papers, applications and an informative program concerning the new rules, regulations and state requirements, and fees for point of sale well and septic inspections.
